OUR STORY

Helping People Through Life's Most Difficult Circumstances

Got Kids began with a heart for helping children and teens who were facing circumstances no young person should have to face alone. Over the years, our mission has included helping youth affected by abuse, abandonment, serious illness, disabilities, human trafficking, bullying, and other overwhelming circumstances.

As our work and relationships grew, so did our mission. Got Vets was added to extend that same spirit of compassion and service to veterans, their caregivers, and their families. Today, Got Kids and Got Vets brings these missions together under one organization — supporting kids, honoring veterans, strengthening families, and connecting people with help when they need it.

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT

Sometimes people don't know where to turn. That's where we come in. Every person's situation is different. Instead of limiting our mission to one type of need, we listen first. Sometimes we may be able to help directly. Other times, the best way we can help is by making a phone call, advocating for someone, locating a resource, connecting organizations, or finding the right person who can open a door. If we don't have the answer, we'll do our best to help find someone who does.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to bring hope, support, advocacy, resources, and meaningful connections to children, teens, veterans, caregivers, and families facing difficult circumstances. We believe people accomplish more when communities work together. By connecting individuals with volunteers, organizations, programs, and resources, we strive to help people overcome obstacles and move toward a brighter future.

AN ALL-VOLUNTEER CHARITY ❤️

This one I would make visually stand out because it says a lot about the organization. Got Kids and Got Vets is powered by people who care. We are an all-volunteer charity. Our volunteers give their time, experience, compassion, and connections because they believe in helping others. From supporting a child or family during a difficult time to helping a veteran find resources or advocacy, our goal is simple: See a need. Find a way to help. Bring people together. Make a difference.

STRONGER TOGETHER

Children. Teens. Veterans. Caregivers. Families. Volunteers. Community organizations. We may serve people with very different needs, but they are connected by one belief: No one organization or person can do everything — but together, we can do incredible things. That's what Stronger Together means to us.

Supporting Kids • Honoring Veterans • Building Brighter Tomorrows
